AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Two youths were beaten up by local people when they allegedly came to abduct a minor girl in broad daylight. This horrific incident took place in Bishalgarh Office-Tilla area.

The two youths' names have been identified as Sumon Das S/o-  Nibash Das , resident of South Charilam and another  has been identified as Ashish Pal S/o- Nibash pal residence of Belonia. 

The minor girl's elder brother has allged that today morning with the intention to kidnap his sister, the two youths reached the Bishalgarh area.

Over suspicions, the locals caught them and informed Bishalgarh PS, after reaching to the scene the local people handed the two youths to Police. 

On the other side talking with the two youths, they both  denied the whole incident and said they came to officetilla to visit at Suman Das’s grandmother’s house. 

However, scissors, knives and other sharp weapons were allegedly found in their bags. 

Also, it is known that Suman Das is involved with the theft incident at North Charilam on 10th May at a retired teacher Narayan Das’s house. 

The incident held in Bishalgarh Office Tilla area.
