AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): Due to Covid-19, no major celebration was organized in IGM hospital today like other years but amid Pandemic, the Front Line Warriors did not skip to pay tribute to their ideal Florence Nightingale.
The programme was organized by maintaining social distancing and following Covid guidelines.
Florence Nightingale, OM, RRC, DStJ was an English social reformer, statistician and the founder of modern nursing. Nightingale came to prominence while serving as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War, in which she organised care for wounded soldiers at Constantinople.
