KAILASHAHAR, May 11 (TIWN): 45 years old man physically tortured his wife, who is also a mother of three daughters, both were married 10 years back. The housewife also alleged that her husband sells their home without her consent, incident in Kailasahar.

Sujit Pal, 45 years old, a resident of Durgapur Ward No-15 of Kailashahar Municipal Council got married to Urmila Deb, 30 years old a resident of Dharmanagar 10 years before.

A week ago, Sujit got involved family quarrel with his wife Urmila, and it allegedly turned into physical torture. Hearing the housewife's screams the local people went to the victim’s house but noticing local people Sujit vamoose from his house. So far his family could not trace Sujit yet.

Simultaneously, also it is learned that Sujit sold his house without informing his wife to a fishmonger named Jagannath Sarkar, who has business in Kailash Bazar.

After receiving the news of this incident, the SI of Kailashahar Women PS, Shivani Debbarma went to the victim's house to investigate the incident.

Also Unakoti District Secretary, Shyamal Sarkar rushed to Sujit’s house and met the housewife Urmila.
