AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): Water leakage in Haradhan Sangha on the middle of the road, locals along with pedestrians and shopkeepers are facing troubles to move smoothly on the road. Even after receiving complaints the department remains slumber instead of repairing the water leakage.

Reportedly in Agartala’s Haradhan Sangha area, pedestrians and shopkeepers are facing trouble due to leakage in the drinking water pump in the middle of the road. Many times the local people along with the shopkeepers complained to the department but the department did not take any steps forward to fix the water leakage.

A shopkeeper said many times it was repaired but even after repairing it, water started leaking, which lead to damage to the road.

The victim shopkeepers along with the local people of the area demanded the road should be immediately repaired otherwise accidents may occur.

In rainy days, the situation across Agartala goes at worst as water logging turns the city a huge water body indeed.
