AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN): Centering COVID-19 Curfew-violating marriage programme and West DM Shailesh Yadav's raid which led protests against DM with misuse of power allegations, BJP MLA Asish Das also started protest at Circuit House.

Amid investigation, DM West Shailesh Yadav wrote to Chief Secretary to remove him from his post for the fair investigation and accepting the plea, Chief Secretary appointed Raval Hemendra Kumar in West DM Post until further order.

However, today after removal of DM Shailesh Yadav, BJP MLA Asish Das has withdrawn protest.

IAS Dr Shailesh Yadav has been in controversy of the opposition from a long time. However, no Corruption allegation could be brought against the officer yet and he carried a clean image financially. 

Reacting over West Bengal poll defeat of BJP, Asish Das said that his party BJP's leaders should learn to accept the defeat and to learn from mistakes.
