CHARILAM, May 1 (TIWN): One auto driver was injured in a horrific road accident, admitted in hospital in serious condition.

Sources said, the auto was in the way from Bishalgarh to Charilam and hit a parked truck hardly.

The auto driver has been identified as Abhijit Das, 28 years old was seriously injured after the accident.

After hearing an accident sound the local people rushed to the spot and rescued the driver Abhijit from the auto and took him to Bishrimganj Hospital.

Noticing deplorable health conditions in Bishrimganj Hospital he was immediately referred to Agartala, GB Hospital.

On the other side, the truck driver said his truck was parked on the edge of the road. On primary investigation it came to know the auto driver lost control over the vehicle and hit the truck hardly, which led to the accident.
