AGARTALA, April 29 (TIWN): Daring theft incident occurred in the office tilla area last night. Taking the opportunity in absence of the family members, a gang of thieves raided a house and took away gold ornaments along with cash in office Tila area under Bishalgarh PS.

Reportedly, Satta Das the house owner has been undergoing treatment at Agartala GB Hospital for several days, His wife was also at GB Hospital to take care of him. Taking the opportunity the burglars raided the house last night and took away the gold ornaments along with cash. The thieves even stole the gas cylinder, TV along with them.

It was reported to Bishalgarh PS, and the police have started the investigation.

When the incident came to light on Thursday morning it generated panic among locals in the area. Such daring theft incidents in a dense locality has also made common people doubt on their safety.
