AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): The Democratic Youth Federation of India placed deputation to the South District Chief Health Officer on six point demand.
A four member delegation from Democratic Youth Federation of India placed deputation to District Chief Health Officer Dr Jagdish Namah with a memorandum mainly on two point’s demands in the COVID Pandemic situation.
The first demand is that the districts and sub-divisions should soon open COVID Medical Centers with special infrastructure and store them with adequate amounts of oxygen and other materials. The second demand is to recruit the required number of doctors and nurses simultaneously in the state hospitals.
The four members of delegation also said in front of media that last year state’s CM, Biplab Deb had announced that who will die out of COVID positive, govt would provide Rs 10 lakhs to the deceased family. But no one has yet received that amount, said the delegation members.
The four members of delegation included Ripu Saha, president secretary of Belonia sub-division committee, Madhusudan Dutta, Jahar Lal Debnath and Rakesh Biswas.
