AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): The Agartala Battalion of Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised an awareness campaign for over 50 people at Mandai Community Shed, Mandai, Jirania Sub Division, West Tripura District.

The event was aimed to increase awareness about Malaria, its causes and various methods to prevent spread.

The community members of Mandai were educated on prevention strategies such as clearance of stagnant water, covering water containers, use of mosquito nets & the concept of ’Sun Down, Sleeves Down’.
