AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Man's body was found lying near roadside in an unconscious manner. Locals first spotted him and informed to the police and fire department.

Upon getting news the Police and fire service officials rushed to the spot and rescued the injured. Later he was taken to the GB hospital. However, an eyewitness complained Fire service reached the scene late.

The rescued man has been identified as Narayan Das, residence of GB. According to the police, it is suspected due to intoxication Narayan fell ill.
