AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): As COVID-19 night curfew has started tonight 10 PM, the police department is in full action to successfully implement the restrictions. Lots of violators were detected from various spots of Agartala city tonight and through the night till early morning restriction will remain imposed. In Day time also, police departments were alert to ensure social distancing and people wearing masks. Mask distribution programmes were also held with the initiative of the police department. But even after the Govt had set guidelines, DM and NHM authority held press meets in the evening to appeal masses to obey the rules but after night 10 PM also, many violators were traced. Police have taken the violators to police station lockups.Â
