AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): On March 18, Samin Ahmed (24), of Udaipur Maharani area, allegedly kidnapped a minor girl and molested her.

On March 20, the victim’s mother lodged a written complaint at Udaipur Women's Police Station following which SI Purnima Das Sarkar, has registered a case (case no. 14/21) of IPC 354/506 under the Posco Act.

.However, after the Police started investigating the case, Samin came to the PS and surrendered himself before them.
