AGARTALA, March 22 (TIWN): A young intoxicated man brutally attacked a woman with stick on her head in broad day light. After the incident she remained unconscious on road for a long time, and her shop was vandalized. The brutal incident occurred in Golbazar on Monday.

Upon receiving the news, fire service personnel rushed to the scene and took the injured woman to GB hospital. Presently, she is undergoing treatment at Agartala GB Hospital.

Such a heinous act in broad daylight triggered tension among locals and eyewitnesses. Though the reason behind the quarrel is not known but as far the news spreads, netizens started condemning the incident.
