AGARTALA, March 15 (TIWN): With 9 points demands Asha Karmi placed deputation to DM, as Govt should declare Asha Karmi as Government employee and to provide Rs 18000 to Asha Karmi and Rs 24000 salary Asha Karmi helper’s. Instead of 20 days work govt should have to increase 30 days of work facility in a month. Demanded compensation of Rs 5 lakhs after death to the family and to provide Pension benefit. Also demanded uniforms should be provided twice in a year and rest room in hospital, with relaxation of age bar while recruiting for ANM.

General Secretary of Asha Karmi also said during COVID-19 they were supposed to get Rs 1000 per month but the Asha Karmi did not receive the amount properly. Even though,  Asha Karmi has been deprived from Rs 1800 incentive since a long time.
