AGARTALA, March 14 (TIWN): The accused Manoranjan Debnath took the minor girl on Friday, who stayed in his neighborhood in Krishnapur area, to his home on some pretext and allegedly molested her while her parents were at a temple on Maha Shiv Raatri.

Later upon knowing the facts, the victim’s parents lodged a complaint at P R Bari Police Station and the accused was soon arrested by the police.

The culprit was taken to Bilonia District and Session Court today.
