AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): Tripura former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Friday has labelled the ruling BJP party in Tripura as "CUT-MONEY" Party as anybody can be pleased with Commission and nobody can even get a tender without commission. "What more to say ? This party from top to bottom is griped in Commission consumptions", said Manik Sarkar. On Thursday while addressing in Udaipur town, Manik Sarkar said that from MGNREGA to each tender, there are Commission exchanges obviously. Yesterday, Manik Sarkar was talking about the outsourcing job recruitment notification of the BJP Govt when he commented about the alleged 'Commission Culture' also. Manik Sarkar said that this decision is fully unethical as if Tripura Govt has announced a war against the unemployed youths. Reacting against Manik Sarkar's statement, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath said that the CPI-M will get its answer in election results.Â
"It is clear that what the BJP promised in Vision Document, it is doing exactly the opposite. Before the election, they said about house-to-house jobs, 50000 govt jobs but now this is the outcome. Our Govt tried its level best to appoint maximum possible employees but still the opposition on that time claimed about job-crisis", said Manik Sarkar.
On March 10, recalling murders of police officials in Tripura by smugglers, the former Chief Minister while addressing in Udaipur, has said that smuggling is on a massive rise and BJP has its deep involvement in that.
"Today no project is done by proper tendering and for all tenderings 7% to 10% commissions are enjoyed. Massive corruptions are going on. In border areas smuggling activities are in rise, Such activities are functioned by BJP leaders either of the Mandal level or State level", said Manik Sarkar.
It can be recalled that a police official was crushed under smugglers vehicles in Sonamura area and allegation raised that it was done by BJP leader's brother Biswajit Bhowmik or his smuggling business linked workers. Biswajit Bhowmik's massive smuggling empire was alleged by BJP former Yuva Morcha Sonamura President Sundar Ali himself.
Also, recently drug-peddling commission business was alleged undera Minister.
BJP workers are often coming into Police's net in such smuggling works. However, actions are very few whereas the drug network has gripped the state.
