AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M has lambasted BJP Govt and PM Modi for claiming that Tripura is reeling under Vikash.
CPI-M State Leadership has verbally issued a statement after BJP's 3rd year completion celebration was conducted at Astabal stadium.
"State is facing severe crisis, increasing law and order problems. Money extortion cases are coming out everyday. All the projects which are now being inaugurated are of Left Govt and maximum were before 2014 when Narendra Modi Govt came in power", said CPI-M.
The opposition CPI-M has slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his statement that only Rs. 125 MGNREGA was the wage in CPI-M Govt's time.
"MGNREGA wage was at Rs. 179 and BJP promised it to increased to Rs. 340 but now it is seen that not even minimum wages they are getting. Rs. 205 though has been announced but people are not getting half of it in maximum places because huge mandays and wage-distribution corruptions are going", stated the party.
The CPI-M leader further hit PM Modi for his claim on 7th Pay Commission pays as Tripura was never given 7th Pay Commission but a pay matrix with less than 1% (0.32%) hike was given, depriving the employees from DA.
"This is not Vikash, this is Vinash !", the CPI-M State leader told media.
