AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Building construction works at Amarpur has been stopped due to fund crisis.

The construction work started for Amarpur staff quarter in the year 2017-18 at the cost of Rs. 3 Crores 10 lakh 60 thousand.

But the new Govt has stopped funding for the project and as a result the half constructed building is getting damaged. 

Talking to an official, he said that even after telling the Govt again and again, this construction has not been started again, though the fund was sanctioned.
