AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): Today morning Crime Branch team led by Supervising Officer DySP Ajay Kumar Das and IO Insp. Benu Lal Kar and SI Ashish Sarkar conducted raid and search in connection with West Agartala PS Case No. 212/2020 dated 18/12/2020 u/s 468/471 IPC and arrested accused - Rupam Kar(25) s/o Babul Kar (Tripura State President of 'Lok Janshakti Party') of behind Bordowali High School along with forged public documents, rubber stamp of government officers, ONGC and Indian Oil, computer, printer etc.

Seized and recovered items were used by him to create fake Foreign liquor licenses, petrol pump allotment, job offer letters etc by cheating the public in return of huge amounts of money.

FIR named accused - Tapan Saha of North Badarghat, near Bapuji School, Bordowali who submitted fake documents but during preliminary investigation it was found that he was cheated by arrested accused person Rupam Kar.
