AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): In the so called “Hira Era” massive water crisis hits in village areas, which causes huge suffering noticed in rural areas. In various areas from town to village and in many places, lack of drinking water has been reported. Such issues again came up from Totabari area, including the area adjacent to the Totabari school in Teliamura subdivision.

Locals of Totabari area under Teliamura Subdivision claimed that contaminated drinking water is being supplied in the entire Totabari area. Many villagers are getting sick as various waterborne diseases are spreading after taking unpurified water. Many times earlier it was reported to the local leaders but no initiative has been taken to fix the water problem.
