AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): Based on secret information NCP PS led a raid in a lorry in the forest adjacent to the Green Touch Resort at Durgabari under Bamutia Assembly and recovered 500Kg dry Cannabis. During the operation the lorry driver was absent at the spot later the police successfully arrested the lorry driver and also seized the lorry. The seized dry cannabis market price estimated Rs 1 crore.

The raid was led under the leadership of NCP PS, SDPO, Priya Madhuri Majumder. The lorry driver, Nandan Bhowmik, a resident of Mohanpur area, was absent while Police led raid at his house.
