AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): Tripura Director General of Police V S Yadav on Wednesday has said that Police found traces of NLFT link with a political party in Tripura.  

The DGP said that the NLFT is making connections to find new members for them to revive their organization along with collecting funding which is prone to extortions.

On being asked by the media whether there is any connection between the terrorist group NLFT in Bangladesh with Tripura Political party, Yadav said that on yesterday one such case has come out where a nexus has been traced.

"We don't bother about which political party has connections with such anti-Indian forces but police will take action accordingly", said the DGP.

However so far no arrest was reported.
