AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarman on Sunday was irked by media queries on BJP and IPFT's ideological contrasts. Jishnu Debbarman was asked about existing confusions among voters due to the conflicting ideas like BJP's 'Ek-Tripura-Shrestha-Tripura' Vs. IPFT's ideology of dividing the state and rising demands for a separate state ahead of the upcoming ADC Poll. In reply, Jishnu Debbarman said that IPFT is at first BJP's political ally and that's why BJP and IPFT have to talk to each other about seat sharing and political alliance factors and so far there is no tension between BJP and IPFT. Jishnu Debbarma was totally ignoring to discuss much about IPFT's Tipraland demand and also merged regional groups' Greater Tipraland demand and said, "IPFT's demands are not new".
"Moreover, it's IPFT's demand. BJP has nothing to talk about their demands. We are hopeful that the alliance will happen with only aim of cultural, sociological developmental agenda", said Jishnu Debbarman.
"In Assembly Election also, keeping socio, cultural agendas in minds, the alliance was done between BJP and IPFT. Our alliance is a strong alliance unlike Left's alliance where RSP, Forward Bloc's voices are unheard. That's why aligned party's demands are loud in this current ruling alliance", He added.
