AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): Tripura CM, Biplab Kumar Deb earlier said there is no financial crisis in the state but the ground reality is financial crisis has hit across Tripura. Under the regime of Biplab Deb many people across the state are suffering from heavy crisis due to lack of work opportunities.

When BJP’s slogan is “SABKA SAATH SABKA VIKASH” but there is no VIKASH for poor people. Amid the slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash newly married couples attempted suicide by consuming poison under the pressure of debt in Sonamura under Manik Nagar Sub-division.

It is known that the wife was 8 months pregnant.  After the incident, the family took the newly married couples to GB hospital but the husband died on Saturday morning after a long fight with death. The wife is struggleing with death and undergoing treatment at GB hospital. The baby inside the mother's womb has died.

These types of incidents are not new, many people earlier self-killed under the pressure of debt and acute scarcity but the government has been maintaining silence.
