AGARTALA, Feb 16 (TIWN): On-duty police official was attacked in Udaipur, Gomati Tripura.

Reportedly, for the last few days, in PA Bazar area Ram Thakur festival was going on. An information came to police saying that a shop illegally was selling liquors 

Police accordingly raided the shop and huge numbers of liquor bottles were seized.

But after some time, the youths furiously attacked police officials and ASI Partha Saha was physically assaulted.

However, police were able to arrest a few of the miscreants and took them to R.K.Pur Police station.
