AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): CPI-M's women wing's massive protest rally was staged statewide and deputation was placed seeking works for the needy people, to decrease increasing power charges, road-maintenance etc.

Nari Samiti leader Rita Kar told the media that statewide in zonal offices deputations are being placed and in Agartala to the Commissioner also, deputation has been placed.

Tripura BJP Govt has stopped social pension for lakhs of beneficiaries in Tripura which has affected many poor people including old, bed-ridden women who have nobody to look after physically challenged persons.
