AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Passengers faced lots of harassments in Agartala-Silchar Special Train after multiple passengers were given tickets with same ticket numbers. Many passengers did not get seats and were bound to keep on standing throughout the route. Centering this incident, heavy resentment erupted among the passengers who did not get seats due to the error of the Railway employees. A passenger who was going from Agartala to Silchar said, "We booked tickets for Silchar special train. But it was noticed that for D-7 bogie's seats, 4 to 5 tickets were distributed. As a result many passengers are going by standing and I am too bound to go by standing". Another passenger said, "I will go to Agartala to Silchar and so bought two tickets at Rs. 130. My seat numbers are 83, 84 for bogie D-5. Ticket No- 17002035 has been distributed among 10 passengers. If after paying money, we have to suffer like this, then what is the outcome of booking tickets ? How can 10 passengers seat together ?"

The tickets were booked from Agartala Badharghat Railway station.

"We have paid as per Centre, State Govt's rules but even after paying much, if we have to face troubles like this, then for what these rules are ? For how long can we face these troubles ?", asked the man.
