AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): BJP's promise on Employment Generation in Tripura failed to testify its link with the reality, resulting in thousands of people's job-lost from Private as well as from Govt Depts. Videos of BJP leaders' pre-election promises now go viral in social media and the public are reacting sharply against their JUMLA promises. Tripura has become Second Topper in Unemployment Rate after Jammu & Kashmir in January, In January, 2021, Tripura was recorded as the second topper in unemployment rates in Indian states. Jammu and Kashmir's unemployment rate is 21.9% whereas Tripura is 18.1% in unemployment rate and Rajasthan is in third position at 17.7%. This monthly data was released by CMIE today morning. In comparison to Tripura other Northeast states are in a much elevated position as in Assam, the unemployment rate is only 1.5%, Meghalaya 3.3%.
BJP also in its Vision Document promised 50,000 Govt Jobs in first one year if BJP is voted to power. That Vision Document was released by the then Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley and obviously, there was no chance of doubt when it was assured by Arun Jaitley like figures.
At the same time, the BJP also has failed to secure the 10323 teachers jobs, although it promised a constitutional amendment to secure 10323 teachers Jobs.
From JICA, to Municipal Corporation, Health, Anganwadi Centre - many workers faced terminations after the BJP Govt was settled here.
At the same time, after the election victory, taking a 360 turn, the Party State President who was elevated in CM post, Biplab Deb started claiming that to be self dependent is much prestigious than Govt jobs.
