AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Sunday while addressing in Science Teachers Association 2012's blood donation camp at Agartala Town Hall has announced that from now, no student will be held in class - 10 and all students will be allowed to sit in Board Examinations.
"The teachers have taught a lot the students. Why should Govt detain them ? Our Govt has also taken various such decisions in case of higher education", said Ratanlal Nath.
"For example one student is studying in Class-10 and will participate in Pre-Board exam, which is just a mock-test but all students to be allowed to sit in board examinations", said Ratanlal Nath.
"This norm will be implemented from this year", the Minister added.
This new rule will be started with the introduction of "Pre-Board Examination" like CBSE.
