AGARTALA, Dec 14 (TIWN): The only development in the Power Dept is seen in the BJP Govt regime is the billing matter that the public are bound to pay high bills of monthly electricity charge.

Increasing load-shedding frequencies have turned public lives miserable in Tripura. In many subdivisions power does not stay even for 10 to 12 hours in total. 

If power cut is reported for half and hour the power returns for 5 minutes only. If this is the situation during the cold weather, what will happen when summer will approach in state.

On the one side, people are bound to pay high electricity bills which TSECL increased twice at least after BJP--IPFT Govt came in power but the other side, heavy power cuts have been suffociating public lives.
