AGARTALA, Dec 14 (TIWN): Tripura police held onto a gigantic transfer of Ganja (cannabis) on Sunday at Teliamura in the Khowai area. The estimated transfer of ganja is worth Rs 1 crore.

In light of information sources, Teliamura traffic Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) – Sona Charan Jamatia blocked a truck coming from Agartala at the Hawai Bari Naka Point. A total of 80 parcels of ganja were recuperated from the blocked truck. The bundles were covered up underneath the vegetables. Police have likewise captured the transporter regarding the seizure.

The captured transporter has been distinguished as Shibu Sarkar, who hails from Gamaibari.
