UDAIPUR,December 3(TIWN): Tourism and DWS Minister Ratan Bhowmik today inaugurated Gomati District level Direct Cash Transfer programme under Public Distribution system. The programme was held in the Conference Room of Gomati Zila Parishad.
At 11am Ratan Bhowmik inaugurated the programme. Gomati Zila Parishad Sabhadhipati Smt Suniti Saha, ADM Gomati L T DARLING, SDM Udaipur Ajit Debnath were also present on this occasion.
Few months before it was decided by the state cabinet that the subsidy of pulse and mustard oil bought under Public Distribution System will be distributed in the bank account of the consumers. And for this Direct Cash Transfer of subsidy has been launched in the state . And speaking on this occasion Ratan Bhowmik said that this transfer of subsidy will benefit the consumers as the amount will be automatically deposited to the respective accounts of the people.
