AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): To venture frustration against newspapers which are publishing truthful reports, writing against the Government's corruptions, negligence in Health Dept, Tripura Education cum Law Minister has commented on newspaper's functioning, alleging that newspapers are technically lagging behind and thus they can not publish truthful news. The Minister was addressing at the Secretariat about Education related things and also giving updates on COVID-19 when said so. He said, "The exact information must be gone either it's about College admission or Health Dept's conditions". "Few Editors met me on yesterday and I know, if I speak now in details few of you will mind but it is also fact that when they go for coverage, I don't have to worry at all. I know exact that information will be given".
"It is much correct that everyone can not collect the information together. In case of newspapers, they don't get all information together but in case of electronic media, they are technically advanced", Ratanlal Nath told media.
However, from his statement, one thing is clear that he does not have any idea how the newspapers and electronic media operate and how all information are shared equally including videos to the print media journalists also.
The only difference is in newspaper, the journalist files the news and in electronic media, an anchor speaks a written script.
