AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): In his usual style of delivering MEMEs, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has given a peculiar comment recently in a party programme in Agartala, where he said that Modi Govt will not fund for Tripura if any other party except BJP comes in power. Targeting the previous Left Govt, he said, "When the communists ask, why Biplab Deb Govt is not filling up promises on social pension, you must ask them can anyone pay except Biplab Deb Govt ? Now, there is Modi Govt at Centre and also in State but if Communist comes in power, they would not be able to pay the social pensions also", said Biplab Deb to his party workers at Banamalipur. CM was addressing in BJP's women's wing "Mohila Morcha" programme in his own constituency Banamalipur, when he said so. Calling Biplab Deb a "Murkho" (illiterate), GMP President cum former Minister Jiten Chaudhury asked Deb via media, how the CPI-M was paying allowances when it was in power ?
He also mentioned how BJP has slashed beneficiaries names from pensioners' list although it was not a promise of the BJP in Vision Document.
www.youtube.com/watch "It is proven that due to double-engine, Tripura Govt is brining more funds from centre. Who will fund if the Communists come to power ?", asked Biplab Deb. TIWN YouTube Link.
