BELONIA, Nov 17 (TIWN): After shameful attacks on media and journalists, now the honest police officers came under the red-eye of BJP hooligans. On a shocking note, one on duty police officer was attacked by local BJP leader after he asked them to stop the loud music at mid-night. The incident occured in Belonia Bharat Chandra Nagar area on Monday night at around 11.30 PM.

Reportedly, the local people of Bharat Chandra Nagar’s Drop gate area complained about the disturbing loud music at mid night that was playing in BJP leader Kiran Biswas’s home as a celebration of Kali Puja. After getting the complain ASI Swapan Sen with his team went to his house and asked him to stop the music. As the leader and his family members did not agree with the ASI and started threatening him instead, the police official asked the leader if he have permission to continue playing music. After this question, the leader with his two sons started physically assaulting him. Later his family members joined and dragged the official to drain and severely beaten him. When the TSR team tried to save him, the goons injured them too.
