AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Bearing pains of her 90% burnt body, housewife Rupa Nat has given her statement before media, how she was set on fire by her husband today.

Her situation was so critical that it is not possible to upload those footage in media but with unbearable pains, screaming, the victim has given statement to media, how her husband pour kerosene on her and then locked the door, setting fire in the room by throwing a match stick by window. 

This incident took place at Gokulnagar Panchayat under Bishalgrah. Accused Ripan Sarkar first acted as rescuer and by kicking the door opened it and then covered clothes around her. But, her vocal cord was not damaged by that time and thus could speak.

From Bishalgrah hospital, she was referred to Hapania hospital but 90% of her body was burnt. Chances of survival is very less.  Accused husband is now absconding. 

She was screaming before all, "I want to survive ! I want to survive !"
