GB Hospital’s ECG department left paralysed for 15 days, creating massive problems for patients

AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): When CM Biplab Kumar Deb claims that GB hospital is better than many other hospitals of Mumbai and Hyderabad, the hospital’s ECG department left unfunctioned since last 15 days and the authority is yet silent on fixing the problem. On being asked’ the GB hospital staffs said that the only technician who is appointed for this department is on leave for past 15 days as he met with an accident. Now the question remains, why there is only one technician appointed for such a prominent hospital of the State like GB, when there are hundreds of unemployed technicians roaming for job?
This problem is creating public harassment as the patients are given dates after dates but not re-opening the department. However, the GB Hospital authority is not ready to pay any attention on this issue and appoint a temporary technician to avoid the public suffering, so far.
