AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): As the historic War Memorial has been removed from Post Office Chowmuhni under Smart City project and public erupted massive resentment against it, CM Biplab deb finally opened his mouth on this issue and asked the people to see the ‘positive’ side of it. Giving another piculiar reason behind hurting the public sentiment Deb said, “Like people takes selfie infront of ‘ I Love Agartala’, have you ever seen someone taking a selfie with the Cannon? Then how will people know the great history behind it. Now after we preserve it in a place where people can go infront of it and click selfies, the will understand the importance of it and it will be our success.” Giving the example of Russia CM Biplab Deb said, “We are not throwing the cannon into water, like Russia did with the idols of Lenin. You should see the positive side of the Government.”
