AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb recently in a public programme said that State has no factory except OTPC and others can not be considered as factories.

However, if his statment is taken as fact also, practically, OTPC is a "plant", not although a factory. 

Ground report says that the State has small scale industries as well as factories, but due to its geographical location, Tripura did not develop with massive industrialization. 

CM said that his Govt is trying to boost industrialization and amid COVID situations is trying its level best to hold the economy. 

As per CM's statement, Tripura's revenue income has increased from 9% to 26% under the BJP Govt.
