AGARTALA, Nov 13 (TIWN): On a pathetic note, one physically challenged housewife was mentally and physically tortured in her in-law's house. And strangely after reaching to police and Women Commission the victim did not get any justice yet. Without seeing any hope now the victim came to media to seek justice and help from the government.

Reportedly, Shukla Dey got married to Amio Majhi, resident of Muhuripur area under Baikhora PS of Shantir Bazar. The victim alleged that after few days of their marriage her husband and her in-laws started torturing her on regular basis. The torture increased after she gave birth to a girl child. After not being able to tolerate the torture anymore, the woman filed a case against her husband and in-laws at Belonia Women PS. But the Belonia PS rejected her complain and asked her to file the same complain at Baikhora PS. Later, after getting no help from  police, the victim went to Women Commission but got no solution till now.

Now the victim with her physical disability and her two year old daughter is roaming from door to door of government official for helping her in such pathetic situation. The woman seeks justice from the government and requested CM to look after the matter.
