AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Theft and robbery incidents are increasing in capital Agartala on an alarming note amid tight security by Tripura police. One such incident occurred in Jaynagar when two thieves were caught red-handed while looting a rickshaw in broad daylight.
Reportedly, on Wednesday two unknown persons were spotted sitting in a locked rickshaw at Jaynagar Yubasamaj club area. As their movements were suspicious, local people followed them. Few moments later one of them started breaking the lock of the rickshaw when the local people caught them.
The locals immediately informed the police and handed them over to law. The identity of the two accused persons is not known yet, however police took a case on it and started investigating.
