Agartala, Oct 23 (TIWN): Tripura based NGO ‘Seva O Sahayata Parisad’ (SOSP) which works mostly on "crime against women”, has organized two days' clothes distribution programme on the eve of Durga Puja from Panchami to Shashthi. Day before Yesterday(Panchami) clothes were distributed among 100 mothers in Chhataria village under Radhakishorepur Constituency. On the same day, SOSP has visited the house of deceased Tuikrayo Mog(murder case under Baikhora Police Station) as a part of its weekly visit to the rape victim families, and distributed clothes to the children of the household as well as the neighbourhood. Today(Shashthi) clothes were distributed among 112 children of Raiyabari ADC Village under Bagma Constituency.

Seva O Sahayata Parisad started its journey from December,2014.For the last 5 years, it has been working for the society following the path of Swami Vivekananda and Netaji Subhas.From 1st August 2020, it has started working for the rape victims.
Every week SSP visits the family of the rape victims to support them in all possible ways as an extended family. SOSP have many plans for the future to work on this issue.
