AGARTALA,December 1 (TIWN): Even though Prime Minister's Office (PMO) rejected Tripura CM Manik Sarkar's earlier requests for PM's visit to State Secretariat on Monday after Palatana programme but Modi may visit State Secretariat today after Manik's last round of request to Modi at All India DGP conference held at Guwahati on Sunday.
Meanwhile on Sunday, Nov 30th evening at Palatana Plant, PWD Minister Badal Choudhury told TIWN correspondent that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to have a courtesy meet with the State Cabinet after his return from Palatana. A highly placed sources in state Secretariet told this correspondent ," On Sunday during his meeting with the PM Chief Minister Manik Sarkar requested PM Modi to meet the state cabinet even for a short time. PM Modi might have given some posiitive signal in response to CMs request. However, till now there is no official confirmation given from the PMO." But this will be interesting to see whether PM visits state Secretariat or not.
Even if Modi decides to visit State Secretariat today, it is expected that Modi will deliver good lessons on governance to CM Manik and his cabinet team.
