AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): After Tripura Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy held tall claims on bus fares allowing bus drivers to take passengers in double seats, the drivers are yet in confusion as they are fined for taking passengers in both seats. Moreover, when the Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy has said that overloading is not allowed, there is still a question, "What is Over-Loading ?" Is taking 1 or 2 passengers standing in buses means overloading ? Police and Media both are seemed in confusion regarding the rules. Although, now it's clear that in 2 seats passengers can be taken, but in many places, public are making videos and releasing in facebook claiming that social distance is not maintained.
Police is allegedly harassing the bus drivers, passengers about the laws. In this situation, in Radhangar bus stand, the drivers started strike, resulting massive public sufferings. On the other side, a massive fight erupted between passengers and drivers in Battala erupting protests, which has raised question whether the common men are subjected to suffer after paying the leaders to stay in luxury and having tall claims with press conferences.
