AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): When Ratanlal Nath always attempts to dump blames on Finance Dept and Financial crisis for recruitment and regularization but reality can be something else sometimes. As per TET Teachers Association's allegations based on their recent meeting with Tripura Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarman, the Finance Dept is ready to regularize the teachers but the Education Dept is not forwarding files. Addressing media on Saturday, the TET teachers said, "We have met various officials, Ministers but no resolution came out yet. The day before yesterday, we have U.K.Chakma, Director of Education and when we met Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarman, he told us to request the Education Dept to forward files to the Finance Dept". "The 5 years fixed pay system was started by the Left Govt. We tried a lot to change the system and met various leaders, officials".
"We met Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman who said that as soon as from Education Dept, file will be moved we will work in that direction. So, we request the Education Minister and CM Biplab Deb to push the file and regularize us", said the teachers.
They said in a press meet, 'The GT teachers are getting after 10 years of jobs Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 26,000 less than Centre, causing losses of Crore in Retirement'. The Association has slammed both the previous and the present Govt for this fixed-pay system for the teachers, which causes losses for the teachers in the long run, whereas the other states teachers are getting high amount of salaries.
