AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): National Students' Union of India, the student wing of the Indian National Congress on Saturday placed deputation to Director of Medical Education regarding the extreme fee hike of MBBS in Tripura Medical College (TMC).
The NSUI members stated that the fee of admission in MBBS course in TMC has increased a lot this year which will be unbearable for the parents. The also stated that this will be a clear injustice for the middle class and lower middle class students if they can't pursue the course because of the high fee problem despite of having qualifying marks in Entrance examination.
The members placed deputation to the director of Medical Education and requested him to look after this matter and reduce the amount of admission fee as soon as possible.
