AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): A large section of unemployed youths are left jobless in Tripura from TET qualified to MBBS. The list also includes Engineers, Nurses and various other dept’s passed out candidates also. The Jatiyotabadi Nursing Association has recently revealed that around 5,500 nursing passout candidates are left jobless in Tripura. The Association has demanded, Tripura Govt must recruit 3000 nurses immediately. In state, also the nurses’ numbers are very less, which is a violation of the health guidelines, said the Association. Thus, the Association demanded that the State Govt must recruit nurses at the earliest.
BJP in Tripura had promised about ‘house to house employment’ and 50,000 Govt jobs in 1st one year in Vision Document, whereas orally the party even promised for Missed-Call-Based Jobs. Tripura has ranked second in the unemployment rate at 21.3% among the 28 states in India. According to Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd (CMIE), it is Haryana which is having the highest unemployment rate at 33.6%, Tripura Second at 21.3 and Jharkhand is 21.0% that is the 3rd position.
