AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on 'Disaster Management Day' has claimed that Agartala city is now freed from Water Logging problems.
He said that Disaster Management Dept has been developed a lot and modernization has filled up the blanks of previous drawbacks. However, to develop the management further and reaching it out till villages, CM has requested National Disaster Management Authority (NDME) Memeber- Kamal Kishore to manage more funds for Tripura.
HAM communication system, ERSS, emergency response 112 all are active 24 hrs and they are giving immediate response to any disaster. Due to Smart city, control room, water-logging problems has seemed reduced although rainfalls at down this year.
