AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): On a huge success note, Tripura police on Monday seized huge amount of contraband items including phensedyl and caugh syrups. The incident took place in Badharghat Keshab Sangha area. Police arrested two persons till now in this case.

Acting on tip off police on Monday morning raided a godown at Badharghat. SP Manik Das led huge force seized a huge amount of phensedyl and other contraband items from there. The owner of that godown is identified as Santosh Sau.

Police said that they seized over 33 thousand bottles of contraband items. The market value of the seized items will be 1 crore approximately. Police arrested two persons in this case till now.
