Agartala, Nov 30 (TIWN): With an effort to enlarge the Sanskrit language, Sanskrit Bharati College today conducted a seminar at the college premises in Buddhamandir.
In the second phase of the programme, the keynote address was delivered by the Professor and Co Founder of Sanskrit Bharati- Chamu Krishna Shastri. Besides, Shastri delivered a lecture on the ‘Role of Sanskrit language in the development of society’.
In the third phase of the ceremony, Professor Lalit Kumar Sahu delivered his essential address on the topic ‘Significance of Sanskrit in today’s science’. He also stressed on the need to propagate Sanskrit tradition and learning during his speech and said the pure way of life embedded in the language had much to be learnt from. The special attraction of the programme was Science fair in Sanskrit language.
During the seminar, 9-point proposals were taken by the college authority to protect and extend the Sanskrit education across the state.
